Dulcie Davy - Artist and Programme Producer

Artist designed, hands on creative workshops and public programmes for young people, adults and children, developed with major cultural institutions, galleries and educational spaces.

I’m a London based contemporary artist and arts producer with an MA in Sculpture from the Royal College of Art. Alongside my independent studio practice, I design and lead creative workshops where participants explore big ideas through tactile making.

I have worked as an exhibition and programme producer, including at Battersea Arts Centre, so I understand what institutions need from a freelancer. I manage projects with close attention to detail, clear communication and firm timelines and budgets.

My work is rooted in accessibility and inclusion. I champion participants from diverse backgrounds, particularly young people, communities of the global majority and anyone who may not usually feel represented in institutional arts spaces. Whether I’m working with technicians, curators or education teams, I make delivery smooth and stress free, from setup to pack down.

Creative Workshops & Learning

I design and/or deliver workshops tailored to your audiences and learning objectives. From one off public events to multi-week educational programmes, I create accessible, engaging opportunities for people to explore ideas through making.

Available for: bespoke workshop design, facilitation, sculpting and painting sessions, youth programmes and public engagement.

Arts Production & Project Coordination

I provide freelance production and coordination support for exhibitions, public programmes, cultural events and creative initiatives. From coordinating artists and technicians to managing schedules, budgets and logistics, I help cultural organisations bring projects to life and ensure they run smoothly from planning through to delivery.

Available for: arts production, event coordination, exhibition delivery, artist liaison and project management.

Artist Talks & Creative Engagement

I contribute to public programmes through artist talks, panel discussions and conversations about contemporary art, sculpture and creative journeys. My approach combines personal insight with accessible discussion, encouraging audiences to engage with art and the ideas behind it.

Available for: artist talks, panel discussions, guest speaking and public conversations.
